Macro lens shots

Hi guys,

Did abit of normal terrestial shots using the canon 60mm F2.8 Macro. Im beginning to really love this lens. Was looking around for bugs just like vingy caught the fly lol. Taken with a non-modded canon 40D

A different field of Photography Eric, they are so sharp and clear, how did you get the little bugger to pose for you, very nice work mate.

The last pic is amazing, the reflection in the drop of water is so clear.

thanks guys. i don't know how you are able to find bugs during this time of the year ving. i can't find anything in the garden.

its incredibly hard eric... its just pure luck that i find anything. got a rose bush? check it for aphids

I've heard good reports about this lens, it's a great performer.

I really like the rose shot Eric, nice reflection in the drop.

These are excellent Eric, really sharp and full of detail. Great composition too on the flower droplet.

I almost bought this lens. I ended up going for the 100mm F2.8 in case I moved to a full frame sensor in the future. It's a great lens too, but I'd prefer the shorter focal length of the 60mm to make handheld macro a little easier.
