My 12" gso is here

It arrived this morning all in good condition, took my girlfriend and I about an hour to put together. It is bigger then what I thought it would be, best thing is that we have bright blue heanevs above at them moment, hope it holds out tonight so I can take the scope out.

I didn't think it would be here untill friday though. Paid for it on friday (direct deposit) staff at Andrews Communications said the money might not go through till tuesday though because of the bank holiday on monday. Talk about great service from all the guys at Andrews.

Cheers - Craig.

Taking bets that it rains in Wagga tonight!! Odds are about 50:1 for clear skies at the moment... Any takers

Craig, they really are a beast aren't they. Hopefully you beat the odds and have a good night for observing...

Congrats!

Had mine for a couple of weeks. Thought star images were lousy until I checked the collimation and found it way out. Has been great since.

I was thinking the same thing.

I will have to collimate it, just looking through the view finder without an eyepiece I can see that it is out a little.

Onya Craig! You're gonna have a ball, mate.
The only thing better than getting a brand new 12" dob is taking that first look through the flamin' thing.
