I'm a lucky guy

It was my birthday on Wednesday.

Among the terrific prezzies and treats I received from my partner Rae was this gem, the new ATIK electric filter wheel.

It's going to make planetary imaging all the more pleasant...and may even end up doubling as a DSO wheel

It's a really nice unit. Very similar to the manual wheel I now have up for sale here at IIS. The other good thing is that there's a USB interface due for release any day now, which will allow for computer control of the wheel

Anyway...I'm stoked...

I've included a pic showing it plugged in to my power pack...along with the nifty little hand control unit.

I'm also looking at getting some new RGB filters, so a set of 'as new' Astronomik L-RGB Type 2 filters will soon be up for grabs.

What a great day.

What a great birthday present. Looks like a great unit. I'm jealous.

I'm on the look out for a Filter Wheel and RGB filters. I might have to send you a PM.

I'm open to offers, Matty.

I am willing to sell the ATIK manual filter wheel and Astronomik Type 2 LRGB filter set as a combined package.

It's all in mint condition.

Happy Birthday! I too have an Atik EFW. Have had it for a while now and am waiting also for the usb release. It is excellent value for money, very easy to use. Looks like with a new mount and computer controlled filter wheel, I'll be giving Maxim a thrashing.
