I can't wait...

I ordered my 12" GSO dobsonian today, I was told that it should arive by the end of next week. Now the wait begins, I hate this part .

Congrats Craig. The wait is the most painful part.

How's the weather?

Did you expect any different when purchasing new astronomy gear?

Hope it clears up for you when your new scope arrives.

I had a feeling it would be poor weather. A week is a short but long time to wait for something like a 12" dob though. And to top it all off I have an oportunity to buy an Olive python for $360 but now I'm not sure if I should after buying this telescope.

You can blame me all you like. But when the telescope arrives and the skies clear and cloud up again you will have to find someone else to blame.
