Im not a Bulldogs fan, but i feel that letting him go is probably the right thing to do. The hardest thing is that there is 2 sides to every story, the media blow it up to say that he left the country, then we hear that he "had his reasons" for leaving, which must be drastic if it looks like he's fled! But we won't find out what the truth is behind him leaving, and i don't really care.........
He has obviously broken his contract and should be dealt with accordingly, like any other person under contract, i think the NRL should fight him registering in Union and i really don't think the IRB will heed the NRL's calls for him to be banned from all codes.
I would certainly not like to see him back in the NRL......
