Australian Storm Chasing

Further to another thread on chilly weather I found this interesting link.

http://www.stormchasing.com.au/

There are some great user submitted pix and an interesting Forum.

If watching the weather is your thing its a good read.

Cheers

Great site, didn't think ASC actually had a website. Jimmy D who was a founder of ASC used to be a fairly good friend, although we did have our differences on a few topics, but nothing that couldn't be talked out. I actually admire what has has done mixing business with pleasure. I am also a Storm chaser from South Australia (yes we sometimes do get them) With a group called the Australian Severe Weather Association which Jimmy had started back in the mid to late 90's. ASWA is just a medium for others interested in severe weather to get intouch with one another, we actually have great fun with activities outside the realm of storm chasing and have made great friends as well as chase partners..

Thanks for the link, make me all warm inside looking at those images.

There is a Kiwi guy who chases storms all over the world, cant remember his name off hand, but he does stuff for National Geographic, and his footage is brilliant. He really does have a death wish though.
