No entries yet.. i'm not a beer drinker myself, finding it difficult to find inspiration of what to shoot for the subject.

Thanks Laurie, the glasses come with the 1.5 litre Grolsch bottles as a pack, 2 glasses and the beer for around $25 I think. The fire's a gas coal grate replica, I put it in when I built the house.

Clever shot Andrew. But you do know of course that doing that to a Corona is going to upset a few people around here.

At least it wasn't rum

How did you take the shot? Did you set the camera to take multiple exposures half a second or quicker apart? Or did you have a case and kept going on trial and error

No way, I wouldn't waste a whole case.
Actually it worked first go, single shot.
I had to build a circuit that would trigger a flash gun when it detects a sound.
(I havn't forgotten you ICEMAN , I'll build you one too. )

Using the 300D on BULB setting, the bottle was dropped in darkness, triggering the flash gun (not the one on the 300D).
Mind you I had already set the focus manually and chosen the ISO before hand, obviously.

That's a great shot Andrew, I really love it!

I won't hold you to building me one though, as great as it would be, my camera just can't be triggered in that way. It's a simple Sony DSCP100 digicam.

Thanks anyway, when I get a DSLR though I'll be back
