Yes... and it's fascinating how the poll results swing from time to time! My first look, it seemed like there was going to be a run away, but now its shaping up as at least a 2 horse race.
As usual there's some great photos here! "Well done" to the entrants!

A great selection of images to choose from again this month.
But only 28 voters so far , come on everyone have a vote, the more the merrier.

Congratulations, Mike! Another great image! ...and a late sprint to cross the line to claim first, just to keep the suspense happening! Well done!
Excellent photos people! I feel an honourable mention should go to Robert_T's chillis though! It was in front nearly the whole way I think!

Thanks Al, yeh, pipped at the post . Thought you my take it there for a while too Al with your toaster. That's what great photography is to me, taking the everyday and making it art.
I reckon the best image won though. Mike's lamp-lit rice was my first choice so well done

Congratulations Mike, on taking out this month’s challenge – gee, it was close run affair!
Yet again the talent lurking on IIS managed to submit quite a diverse and interesting range of interpretations on the theme; well done to everyone who entered, I enjoyed browsing all the submissions.
Cheers
Dennis

Thanks everyone for your kind comments. It was a very close run affair, and I have to say that I think I was very lucky, as it went right down to the last vote. I particularly liked Al's 'Toaster', and 33South's 'Space Food', both excellent interpretations.
I don't want to labour the issue, and it's a totally private matter, but I do hope that a few donations have been made, because it will make a difference to someone.

A fine image Mike, congrats and well done.
I like your choice for the next subject, that should open the field up for some fantastic interpretations.
Cheers

Ric, thanks for the kind remarks, I hope that there are as many entries in July as there were for the last month. All those going to the Qld Astrofest had better get their entries in before the 25th, as it will be difficult to enter from Duckadang, unless you have a carrier pigeon.
