Vela Revisited

Ok tried some enhancements in PS created my own diffraction spike brush and applied to image posted 22nd June. Trial and error

Hmmmm, Trevor, I don't think those spikes did your image much justice, that is only MHO though, however we have to experiment to learn, keep at it mate.

Thanks Leon I agree actually the brush I used was a bit off centre but didn't notice this until after saving, so I've had too modify it, also need to look at the size of the diffraction spikes and frequency and where to apply. I think I'll look at making a brush with 8 spikes the angled inner ones smaller than the main. It's all about experimenting and when the weathers bad it's a way of learning how to use the image processing tools.
