Images from today.. Vivid sunsets

I know I know.. Sunsets have been done and done and done again, but these are my best in a long time...

Also through in a HDR I took looking up a creek, Im not completely happy with how it turned out, but its not 'bad'. Hence.. posting it..

Comments + criticism welcome..

Alex.

Nice shots!

Saw the sunrise this morning too while on the way into Brisbane for an exam. Fantastic sight - the sunrise, belt of Venus, the Moon and Jupiter, all back dropped with the Glasshouse Mountains. I wish I had my camera.

Am I right in assuming that you took the first photo from Shorncliffe Pier?
It's a beautiful set of photos.

Spot on Jjj, Thanks for the kind words... I've re-done the HDR since, I decided it looked too, for want of a better word, 'dry'....

has a lot more depth now... might post it up later

Lovely shots Alex, love #1, great colour combo.
The HDR's come up well, looking forward to see your re-process too.

I've been tinkering with HDR again lately too, post soon.
It's my favourite technique.

Well done mate.

Alex,

These are CRAP, every single one! What were you thinking? The exposure is terrible, the framing is shoddy and you call that focus!?! Give it away while you still have a chance at getting in to hairdressing school! You sully my eyes with this refuse!

Just kidding!

Awesome pics, the atmosphere in the first one is very nice, it almost conveys that chill in the air from the sun just setting.

Impressive shots, nice work.

Chris
