Water found on Mars

Just read this on the Net .......

It is with great pride and a lot of joy that I announce today that we have found proof that this hard bright material is really water ice and not some other substance," said Phoenix Principal Investigator Peter Smith of The University of Arizona, during a news briefing to announce the confirmation of water ice.

I suspect that the find was needed.. we find water so we can now look more for life... future funding could be harder if the mission had not delivered the goods...
I just hope folk dont start figuring how the water can be mined and used for space fuel.

That's the first thing they'll think of, Alex. You couldn't bet enough on it.
