Tranquility at the end of my driveway

Took this a couple of mornings ago.
Caught a glimpse in the rear view as I drove the kids to school.
Returned home, grabbed the camera and caught this light...

Very nice... You were lucky the conditions didnt change during the round trip... I would have told the kids "It wont matter if you're a few minutes late..."

Mind you thats not the best example to set I suppose.

I see these kinds of scenes around this part of the world a lot - just don't have the camera handy or the energy/opportunity/time to return to the scene and capture it.
This one fell onto my lap so to speak!
Nature is an absolute star isn't it!?

Tech note: I read in a review that if you give these L lenses the correct light they will "sparkle"!
I think this pic shows that to be true!
So, really, I'm just the guy who pressed the button!

I'm glad I did!
