3.5 day old Moon with DMK31

I became the proud owner of a USB DMK31 mono camera today and took it outside this evening to test on the crescent Moon using my grab and go refractor. As it can plug straight into my laptop and run off laptop battery power it's easier to operate than the firewire DMK21 which needed a firewire adaptor card and a powered hub. Only disadvantages so far are that I can't fit the entire display onto the laptop screen when imaging and the files are about double the size of a DMK21 file.

Image is a mosaic of three of 250/1000 shot through my Megrez 90, stacked in Registax, mosaic-ed using PT Gui and then processed in AstraImage and GIMP.

nice work Stephen. the clarity is pretty good. You are mastering the DMK by the looks! The clouds have just cleared tonight, only now seeing a setting moon - too late to image for me....so I will just enjoy yours..

WOW! brilliant image! Captured the lunar landscape in great detail, and with a very smooth, natural looking exposure too...

Well done.
