Site Updates: New Search Page

I've added a new search page for the site.
<-- New menu item over there on the left.

You may find it more useful than the forum's search engine. Seeing as Google seems to know all, it probably will produce better results for site & forum content.

Cheers.

What a great idea.
Glad to see it's so easy to use and search the IIS site. Thankyou.

Just tried a search on "fs60-c" and came up with nothing.

Tried expanding to "tak fs60-c" and came up with nothing.

Expanded to "takahashi fs60-c" and still came up empty.

Did a search on the same strings using the standard search and came up with dozens of hits for each. Some fine tuning needed?

Hmm.. working now Mike. I run Firefox 2.0.0.14 and yesterday I saw a brief list flash up for a split second, before I was then posted to a page reporting no hits. Maybe there are a couple of FF issues that have been addressed? It's working well today!

I see. It might have been a javascript thing. I changed the initial javascript last night, so that may have inadvertently fixed your problem. Apart from that, it's just your normal google search. It's probably better than the forum search, seeing as it's more likely to return the most relevant results... Also, I can't live without the "Did you mean?" question.

I'll play around with it later and make sure the interface is bullet proof.
