Two Unusual "Targets"

Hi All,
Two unusual galaxies that are literally targets.

Hoag's object -6x10min-L +darks 12"

NGC6028 -6x10min-L +darks.

Just thought I'd post to show some off the beat objects.

Nice work Jeff. Were these captured using the old ST7E workhorse?

Cheers

Yes. The ST7e seems nice for these objects. I have a 300D for the larger targets but have not used it on the 12" yet. I like the ease of using the ST.

I look through books at bookshops, looking beyond the poster pic's. If I find something unusual I'll write its info down.
Other places on the net eg Arp Cat., NED etc. I tend to read the comments in catalogues, look for anything unusual. Many turn out to be faint fuzzies but every now and then a suprise turns up.
