Eagle nebula LRGB 29/05/08

Took this picture last thursday , 250Lum, 150 each rgb stacked in registax darks subtracted.exposure 2.56 seconds each frame.8"LX90 with x2.5 lumican focal reducer.

Philip, as with the Trifid neb, although a great capture, it seems a bit light on although the detail is certainly there, keep at it mate, and keep posting.

were these taken with the Gstar-ex?

They look very good, focus seems good but perhaps an IR cut filter to sharpen up the stars a bit...

looking good... Keep them coming!

H I alex,
Yes they were taken with the G star.Exposure is very small (2.5 secs ) so a large aperture will provide brighter pics, it also helps to take more pics to reduce the noise .I was using an ir/uv blocking filter and a Seben clr filter as my luminance .This would reduce my brightness a little.I am in the process of getting a BK7 glass filter window to replace it.
