As of today i am on 2 weeks anual leave the down side is that my wife has taken time off as well and wants the shed cleaned out,garden fixed up, trim back the roses and she said we are going to spring clean the house . I said we are still in winter she said it is spring for the next 2 weeks. yes dear
You can say that you have to come down here to Snake Valley and help organise the upcoming Star Camp, attend the Pre-Camp meeting and help with the planning!
But she might want to come for the drive, so that idea won't work.
hate to say it, it will take a con and she will see through, but make the offer too good to be turned down. snake valley is the way to go. say honey, lets go shopping in melbourne with say one of your girlfriends whilst i duck up to snake valley cos I would only be in the way whilst shopping. get a corporate limo for her at the airport (only $55).
then how about the family join in on the family events planned at snake valley, co i would really miss all of you.

Peter, Don't forget to tell her that you have ASAW meeting on wednesday night, then dark sky viewing on saturday night. That gets you off the hook for two nights anyway mate.
Why not just be honest! Tell her you need a break, pack both of you in the car and get away for 3 - 4 days! The roses, shed etc will still be there when you get back!
Did the roses this morning 3 hours in the garden. One down and a few more chores to go.
