Yeah, problem is that some of the links have icons with the text imbeded in images. And the word translation may be english, but its jibberish. I got one answer to a faq "What 100 to bend over kazacstan" whilst it did make me laugh histericly, helped me it did not.

Try here:

You may need to register to get to the 'Files' area where the update zipfile is available.

I think they changed the Chinese site as users were getting firmware from that site before officially released to the English market.

I think this is now the newer Chinese site for firmware, Gotostar, Ioptron Gotonova and Ioptron Cubes:

http://translate.google.com.au/trans...%3Den%26sa%3DN

There are a few pages so look for the appropriate page link at the bottom of the linky page i gave.

Be careful you don't update the wrong firmware because it's hard to read the site....

Yeah, the link to download takes you to the US site. The same flawed firmware is still there. The problem is with this firmware is that (and I still can't believe this) you can't enter the NGC numbers in the thousands ie if you want to look at NGC 4257, you can enter 4, 5, and 7 but for 2 would required you to scroll through 2 thousand numbers......crazy.
