micro focusser versus electric focusser?

Do I really need a 2 speed micro-focusser for an imaging refractor or can I use my existing meade electric focusser for fine focus adjustment?

cheers,

Rob

Electric focusers are great little gizmos. I just bought a Shoestring FCUSB to allow me to focus remotely via my PC with my Skywatcher Electric focuser. When it arrives there will be no more possible vibrations through the mount etc, can't wait.
