Cool First Moon Shots

Don't know if this will work, there is only one way to find out

http://www.flickr.com/photos/21680432@N05/2423121544/

This is a group of shots taken with my Pentax K100D with a 70-300mm flim lens and a Digital X2 AF teleconverter which gives me 600mm.

If i can take such shots with just the camera, i should be able to take even better when i can my telescope up and running.

Nice start, WSR. Have you tried cropping the moon out to give it a little more scale?

Out of interest, did you use automatic or manual focus?

I'd probably be tempted to try to find a better focus manually next time to see if you can obtain a sharper image. Just a suggestion.
