Hi Dave

That Clavius is a ripper of an image – heaps of detail in there. I was out last night but I won’t bother posting my images as the seeing just wasn’t up to it, I’ll enjoy yours instead.

Cheers

Dennis

PS – Thanks for letting me off the hook – no slaving in front of the PC today, punching AVI’s through Registax V4 searching for suitable MAP’s!

Very nice images indeed.

I love the Moon, and usually spend an age getting a " dazzled eye" from viewing it for so long.

You have captured some excellent detail there.

Geoffro.

David are you renting Mike's moon orbiting satellite? you must be to get these fly by like shots with these sharp 3d details. The last image is a little blured but the first to seem very sharp, what changed?

edit: oops i worked it out you mentioned the seeing changed.

Very nice

I haven't looked at or imaged the Moon in ages. Your images have just reminded me of what an amazing object it is at high magnification.
