Showing newbies

Had the opportunity, between heavy cloud cover, to show around 20 new viewers the Moon, Saturn and the Jewel Box tonight through the 8". Yes they all say "Wow" on seeing the Moon up close and super "WOW!" on seeing Saturn. And a few go looking for the photo of Saturn that I must have stuck on the primary while they weren't watching

It was fun.

Reminds me of when I showed Saturn to my neighbour through the dob.

He thought I was pulling his leg. He had to inspect the scope with a torch before believing I hadn't hidden a picture of Saturn inside it somewhere
