Love this time of year! Belt of Venus..

It's a lovely time of year to be on the train at the times I'm on the train at the moment..

In the morning, I get the lovely morning belt of venus in the West as Earth's shadow sets, combined with a lovely sunrise in the East.

In the evening, I get the lovely evening belt of venus in the East, combined with the lovely sunset in the West.

Makes looking out of the train window, and away from the laptop, worthwhile

I've been doing it for over a year now. I always wake up two stations away from Brisbane Central on the way in and about 3 or 4 stops away from my home station back up here on the Sunshine Coast on the way home. Must be an internal clock or something (though, I can read for part of the trip, fall asleep then still wake up at the same place).

Never missed my stop either.

"There I was enjoying a nice little nap on the train when this lunatic with a laptop elbows me in the ribs and points out to me some new brothel called the Belt of Venus..."

Me, I save my sleeping for work.
