16" Go-To Dob:

A 16" Meade Starfinder Dob computerised and solidly mounted.
A good scope with plenty of extras:
New Mel Bartels electronics and drive system on Alt and Az, with Focuser also. Scope program driven by Computer 1 running Win 98 (A better DOS than MS-DOS) and a second well specc'd computer using XP running Guide 8.0 and Imaging software and has simole GPS attached (taking power via USB port).
The mount is solid and well made using worm gears and reduction gears for 2 axis controls. I have installed the electronics from a fully populated board bought from Bartels direct less than 12 months ago. Not yet fine-tuned but all operational.

The scope also comes with a selection of alignment scopes available for mounting if desired - a Telrad, a small refractor or a 4" Newtonian - your choice.

Good range of eyepieces including a 30 mm 80 degr wide angle plus a simple CCD and a film camera also, with different attachment collars etc.

The scope has been mounted on a trailer (easily unmounted) for ease of movement around my farm and storage indoors otherwise. The great Observatory project never got off the ground.

Looking for about $4500.

Located in SE Qld about an hour outside Brisbane.

phone on 0448496635 or 07 54260185.
