Keyhole

I had the 10" Dob out tonight and after a bit of observing I thought I'd plug the Gstar into it.
To capture, I just kept on realigning the scope and videoed the Keyhole as it drifted through the FOV. I did this gain and again. After editing with VirtualDubMod I ended up with 265 frames worth using.
Senseup had to be kept down low, 32x instead of the usual 128x, to try to eliminate star trails.
Cheers

Nice result Jeanette. Well done. Your acquisition technique reminds me of CCD drift scanning using the TDI functionality. You don't need an accurate mount (a rock or chair would do), simply let the object drift across the chip.

There is some good info on drift scanning available;
