Phillips Toucam 900NC

have heard the 900NC is good for planetary but will it do a good job
of DSO's?

also, what is the best/simplest software to use with it?

Thanks, gonna give K3CCD a tools ..

Now just want to know whether the 900NC is any good for DSO's (globs, nebula's and galaxies, other star clusters)

The ToUcam can be used for DSO's, but it's best for lunar and planetary.

It needs to be long-exposure modded to be used for DSO's.

My recent investigation into just this revealed that the modded Toucam as suggested by Iceman, - or the DBK21 (Colour) or DMK21 (Mono) from Imaging Source would nicely do DSOs and Plantery imaging.
