can any one tell me the difference between a phillips toucam web cam and a celestron neximage solar system imager ?

Nothing, except the casing. From what I understand the neximage is a toucam in a celestron case.

welcome, just got a toucam today with the mod for long exposure, will keep you posted on likes / dislikes etc
