Dear All
An attempt from last night with lots of moon. Very difficult to get the moon glow from the images. 6 x 5 min exposures with a 40D. Processed with Iris.
Also from last night is a eta car region. With a non modded camera it is a bit hard but I'm pretty happy with the result.

The Eta is very nice - very sharp keyhole detail.
I love it when the Keyhole is sharp enough to look like a huge stellar mushroom cloud like your pic.

It was taken with my VC200L with my new focal reducer giving a focal length of 1278mm. The field is 1deg x 40arcmins.
