Talking Central Coast observing - 6th August

well if im not mistaken the full moon is on the wane, its time to consider another night out taking in the delights of the night sky under wonderful conditions.

So who's up for it

oh before i forget frogman, are we able to use the kulnura site again.

Okay so the date is the 6th of August
the place Kulnura (see post by Iceman further down for directions), arrive around about 5pm??

yup, well my missus finds this stuff tottaly boring and wont tag along...
I think what I'll do is skip my night at the oaks so I can go with you guys....

I'm keen for august new moon. Though from my reckoning, the 6th august is the saturday. The 5th is the friday.

I also changed the topic title to be more relevant

Id love to come and tag along..if its OK???....to have a look at your scopes...I dont own one, but im looking to buy.

Where exactly is it?? Im not sure where the skirmish place is.

Ah thanks ice for the editorials, I was having one of those moments!,

If im lucky i may even have some new toys for my scope

Supa, we would be more than happy for you to come along and share our scopes. I will let frog man fill you in on where to go.

You could always borrow Andrew's and try it, he has 1.

Also the 6th August sounds good for me, I will check with Andrew to see if he can make it. Gary Kopff won't be there, he will be checking out Houghy's new 9mm Nagler at Astrofest

You were looking in the wrong direction or it was hiding behind a tree, trust me it was there

no he wont. I asked the guy in the States not to send it until next week because I won't be here to get it. So I will have it when I get back from QA. But my nice Newly aquired 20mm Nagler will be getting a workout!
