Best view of Plato, ever!?

Incredible image on LPOD:

Plato from Orbit

Taken using the HDTV camera onboard the Kaguya spacecraft, currently in orbit around the Moon.

Absolutely amazing image.

Wow – thanks Mike. For a split nanosecond I thought that either you or Bird had captured that one! LOL! The full size link is well worth a look, just to pan around this incredibly rich and interesting area of our Moon.

LOL looks like off the fairway onto the green and watch out for the bunkers on the left.
