PEMPro & LX200 Classic

Recently I've been having some troubles getting good PEC data setup for my LX200. I think the problems have been since replacing motors and everything else electronic late last year. I'm not getting the excellent PE I was before.

I'm hence considering PEMPro.

Can anyone comment on it's use with an LX200 classic?

I'm going to run the trial shortly (next available clear night probably) but am at this stage a little unsure about exactly how well it works with the LX200. In particular I wonder how much it relies upon perfectly accurate user intervention of turning PEC training on/off, and telling it when the start of the worm cycle is etc?

Thanks,
Roger.
