Natural delights.

Hello all,

Hadn't been to this part of the forums until today, boy have I been missing out! Those macro shots are great, as are all the others. I might spend some more time browsing this area more often.

I had a folder called 'Good results', I find myself considering changing that to 'Average results'! None the less I'll put a few of them up for you lot to have a look at, while I go and download a few more tutorials.

Picture details: All Canon 300d

Some honey-eaters that decided to come into the world outside my kitchen widow. Heavily photoshopped due to poor original. 28-55mm kit lens

Local beach sand taken while wind was 30+ knots, great texture effect, bad for cameras! 1/200 f22 60mm

Same beach, playing around with shadows and highlights, lots of ps. (shag in flight, 1/1600 f29 187mm) (Wash, 1/800 f14 130mm) Canon 55-200mm

Hope you like,
Cheers,

George

Hi George,

On the contrary, it is we that have been missing out without your contributions.
Thanks for posting these nice shots.
