Cloud shadows at sunset, 9th March

Hi all,

I wandered outside yesterday at around sunset to see if I could spot the new cresent moon, and instead saw these interesting cloud shadows being cast by cumulus cloud onto higher cirrus cloud. These photos were taken about a minute apart. This effect is probably not uncommon, but you don't always have a camera in you hand!

Cheers,
Stephen

Great captures, Stephen. Send them somewhere - I haven't seen it before - not that I look much!

Thanks for the comments, guys. See - clouds can be interesting, as long as they disappear by the end of astronomical twilight!!!

Cheers,
Stephen
