well, due to a demand, not necessarily a high demand, but i feel that it's there, I'm going to try and organise a photography meet, where we can all gather and discuss ideas, share techniques and hone our skills as Terrestrial photographers.
so, tomorrow morning (saturday, 1st march) i am planning on going down to southbank to watch (photograph) the sunrise and have a wander around southbank in the small hours and early morning light with my camera. anyone is welcome to join.
i propose we meet 4:30am, in front of the QPAC centre.
however, that is fairly early, so please feel free to shoot that meet down, and suggest another
I can't do a Saturday morning (kids sport), but any other time is usually doable for me. Some other suggestions of places are Mt Cootha Botanical Gardens, Roma Street Parklands, Karawatha Forest, and Boondall Wetlands.
I've only just seen the post, but couldn't have made it this am anyway, though I'ld be keen on another weekend, but maybe not quite so early as sunrise isn't till 5.40
well, here's the best of what i got saturday morning, i really needed more time to explore southbank a bit more. i reckon another 2 hours would have done it, i felt a bit rushed and forgot a few important details and whatnot while shooting (like levelling the tripod when doing panoramas! lol)
yeah, i'm actually a big fan of the sunlight through the leaf with all teh veins, and the underexposed near sunrise panorama.
nah, no one else turned up, i almost didn;t get up, but i figured what teh hey, i'll possibly be doing it next weekend if anyone is keen? on sunday morning most likely, go straight from cambroon to southbank for a sunrise
