Inner region of M42

Here is the trapezium region of M42;
Taken with ZS110 Apo refractor, Canon 350D.
Stack of nine 5 sec shots.

Nice shot,

Amazing what you can get with only 5 seconds . If you took some longer subs then you could HDR combine and still keep the detail of this core shot.

Have to agree with Paul some longer exposures would really bring it out, having said that, a mighty effort for such short subs.
