Just went through the issue on the train. Congratulations Eric - lovely photograph.
AS&T are really improving - I think this was their best issue to date. Great cross section of material. The domestic articles are appreciated, and tapping into the stuff from Levy, French, Seronik, etc gives it that added polish. I haven't compared it to past issues, but they seemed to have cleaned up their layout too.

And there I was thinking you guys were all talking about the pic of me sitting at my 8" dob observing nothing of interest on Sol!  I don't think it's that good - too much "spare tyre" showing!  I didn't even know at the time someone was snapping pics or I would have sucked it in!
But indeed, congratulations to the truly amazing and capable Eric Lo for your published image. Well done! I still have no idea how you pull these out of Melbourne's light-polluted skies! You are in the "red bit" of the light pollution map! Congratulations

many thanks guys. no worries (the other Eric  ) yes, your situated down in knox, im in wheelers hill so not too far away from you. we are definitely in the red zone. just got my copy from the newsagent today. thanks AS&T also forgot to answer your reply doug, they approached me for that image.
