Last Thor's Helmet for the season...

Hi Guys,

Took this last night of Thor's Helmet. 11 x 7 minutes exposure at ISO 400. Data seem much better than my previous thor's helmet shot as compared to 5 minute subs.

Hi Res here: (click on the button middle bottom)

Excellent work Eric, the nebulosity really stands out.

The attached version unfortunately shows some nasty jpeg compression artifacts, but the full size version is

That's a great image of Thors Helmet.
The extra 2 min in your subs have brought out great detail and the focus is nice and crisp as usual. Nice image to finish off with Eric.

I shudder to think what you would do with an upgrade.

thanks guys. yes that extra 2 minute makes a huge difference. i was lucky to get a coldish night so even longer subs, less hot pixels. i wouldnt do 7 minute shots on a hot night though.

LOL Fred thanks. if only my pockets are deep and no mortage to pay would get myself an astro cam. with the recent interest rate rise has push me further away from an astro cam.
