Would like to know if there's an Astronomy club at Broken Hill and would it be possible get some details about getting in touch with them, would be very much appreciated.

I have been looking around for you since I read your post a few days ago.
Unfortunately I cant find any clubs or astronomy activities near you.

Dont let this dampen your efforts to get out there under what I imagine to be lovely dark skies.... and just Observe.

Hi

There is a sort of loose group of astronomers in the Hill who have the odd meeting and regularly observe at the Mundi Mundi lookout - great skies there!

You may want to get in touch with Kevin Bath (IIS: Kevnool). I was visiting my father-in-law last year and did some observing with Kevin and a few others - a good group!
