Make your own Book

Found this site http://www.blurb.com/home/3 Where you can make your own book. The finished product is of very high quality and looks great. There is all different sizes to make and it is very easy.

That is a great idea! Thanks Phil!!!!

Not too expensive either. About the same as buying a book of the same size/pages.

Make a great prezzie full of our own astro images

He's asking if you made a book through these dudes, Phil. Is that image a photo of a book you made with them? That photo in the bottom left looks like one of yours.

Rod the copy right is mine when you make the book there is a copy right thingy that you write so no one can sell the book. The site is trying to make it so that if you would like to sell the book you can. You put the mark up on the book and you get the profit after they take there cost for making the book.

You can also make books through this lot:

www.snapfish.com.au

I've seen the books, they are also of good quality.

cheers, Bird

Hi Phil,

Thanks for the post. I have seen companies doing this type of thing online
for a little while now and recently had one colleague show a book of landscape
photos they had printed and another a family desk calendar complete with
family member birthdays annotated on it. Both looked really great.

They say you can't judge a book by its cover, so it was great you showed
us some pages from the inside of your own book as well.

Looks fabulous! I am sure it must give you immense satisfaction and pride
in being able to thumb through your own images in this way. Leaving it
on the coffee table at home would also make a great conversation piece
and a sure way to impress visitors.

Thanks for sharing and good luck with your next volume!

Best Regards

Gary

Thanks for the link Phil, I'm very impressed with that and I may just publish one for myself of my best pictures, the prices are quite resonable as well.

Cheers

Very nice.... now I just have to take a few more photo's worth looking at.... otherwise my "book" would be more like 4 pages (including table of contents, glossary and index).

I've downloaded their software - will have a play tonight - I like that you've got some templates and layout options vs trying to put together stuff in InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator.

Great suggestion Phil.
I've been playing with it for a few hours.

Can you tell me how much you paid for the shipping? roughly? That's the only price that they can't be specific about.

Cheers.
Matt.
