M46/ngc2438

my first try at a planetary nebula.
6 x 5 min @ iso 800 5 x 2 min @ iso 1600
imaged with ED100 @ f/5.6 and Canon 400D with Baader UHC-S
hand guided through LX200 @ f/10.

Love this planetary visually Mick. It's such a lovely sight looking through the 12". Beautiful open cluster with the planetary just floating there.
