10" GSO Dob Information required

I am currently considering some mods to my 10" dob which is housed elsewhere, I was hoping that a fellow owner might be able to provide me with the diameter of the ground board.

Thanks,

Greg.

Hi,

Hopefully someone has the exact model, but meanwhile:

300mm Bintel (same mfg) 645mm
200mm Bintel 505mm

to give you some idea. What mods are considered?

Cheers

Thanks Peter and Geoff, I can now go to the printers on monday and order some manual setting circles and Carbatec in Melbourne have a digital protractor (angle finder) which should see the altitude sorted.

Greg.

Greg,

the edge of the ground board has a curved plastic strip. The measurement I gave you was to the widest part as best I could tell with a tape measure. Hope this is what you needed.

Peter
