First Mars with DMK, Jan 4

Last night I was happy to find clear skies and Mars high enough to get a few good quality images. I used my new DMK with a 2x Barlow and my Celestron 8" SCT. I am amazed how much detail the camera captures and shows on the laptop screen. WOW!

I am very pleased to see that much detail with my first attempt.

Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks for the kind comments.

I am hoping to get a filter Wheel and filters soon for RGB imaging. Before they arrive I will have to keep practising in B/W.
