Horsehead Nebula with new WO 110mm APO

Hi all,

Here's one of my first images with the new William Optics Megrez 110mm APO f/5.9 Refractor.

It's 2-hours total (40 x 3-minute sub-frames) with a modified Canon 300D DSLR autoguided on a Losmandy G-11 mount. Processed in Images Plus 3, post processing in Photoshop and Noiseware.

You can get a better look at the image here,

This image has a little field rotation but I have sorted that out now. Pity I can't sort out the cloudy skies for another attempt.

A lovely image Paul, it certainly is a spectacular area of the sky to image.

Yes lovely colours and still lots of detail in the dark nebula underneath the horsehead.
