My deepest Tarantula and friends

Hi guys and Gals,
A lot of us were lucky in eastern N.S.W. on friday night to get some nice clear dark skies...
Here is my best and deepest shot of the Tarantula neb area with my 6" newt and Canon 300D. Guided with a toucam and PHD.
Image is 20 x 6min at iso 800. Seeing was average but got better throughout the night!
Sat back with my wife and watched the odd geminoid cross the sky!
All comments most welcome on my processing and colors..
Image does suffer a bit from jpg compression but to post...
I have never been happy with any of my attempts before but I am quiet pleased with this go!..
That cloud is back now but at least we got a clear night and right on the Geminod peak!
cheers Gary

Really nice image
The extra time in gathering data has really helped.
Great colours and detail - one to be proud of.

Great work Gary. Really love the knots of nebulosity in the wide field view. Colour balance also looks good, perhaps slightly on the teal/aqua tint but nothing major. Well done.

That's so pretty. I could look at it for ages and still find more detail that I'd missed.
I've set it as my desktop picture on the computer.
Thank you very much for posting it here.

Thanks Jase! glad you didn`t mind it..
So hard to work out the color balance for this image as every image I have looked at is so different...from magenta, red to blue to green.
I need to bookmark a site of one of the experts! to give me a idea..
cheers

Thanks Eric, Dan and Andrew!
Have reprocessed it since with some more care as the stars were a little burned out and the histogram looked a bit strange..I think its a much improved but not as contrasty...
Thanks people for your comments!..

The 20 frames have certainly brought out so much detail and nebulosity Gary. Like the reprocessed version
