Unknown object

Hi all,

I was watching the Orion nebula tonight, then at around 22:00 I decided to go a bit further north and down direction horizont. I then saw a moving object coming from the horizon travelling direction Orion. I was using my GSO Dob 8" with mySeben Super Zoom Plossl 8-24mm at 24mm. When zooming in it looked like a rough sandcorn/rock rotating and flying through the sky (I thought first it is something in my eye but it was covering some stars when flying). I was able to follow it for about 2-5 minutes then I lost it between trees... Definately not a plane or sat... Any idea what that was?

Cheers
Tom
