Brahminy Kite

Just got back from a fishing session off the rocks; caught a fish and whistled up the brahminy kite for his breakfast offering.

A beautiful in-flight photo, with a very attractive pose! You can even see the glint in the bird's eye!

Did you grab that one balanced on slippery rocks!

Cheers

Thats a great shot of a nice bird. Nice Pose with the head turned and all.

I recon with a little brightening in photoshop it will come up a treat.

Did he get the fish?

Here is a quick and dirty touch up in PS CS3 using the Shadow/Highlight function.

Cheers

Looks like it will work well.

There is pleanty of detail and colour coming out in the wings after brightening. I like to brighten with the histogram to maintain as much dynamic range as possible.
