Miserable Dragons Day times three!!

It had to happen!

My Under 9's Dragons lost to Ararat: 41 - 32

My Under 12's Dragons lost to Ararat: 61 - 18

and then I get home and watch the tape of todays NRL Dragons game and we lost that too!!!!!

Come on Guys

In the Under 9's Aaron still managed to score two tries and kick one goal, and in the Under 12's Jake got two tries.

Pic number 1: One of Harry's tries!
Pic number 2: Jakes 'full length of the field' Mad Dash that ended in a try!

Funny thing with kids. They didn't really care that they lost both games. All they where interested in was the BBQ and drink after the games!!!

Strange! I remember my junior Rugby Union games. All I wanted was my Pie and drink at the end no matter the outcome of each game!!

We lose a lot of carefree attitude when we get older don't we.

True, but that is why there are lower grades, so you can at least get some fun without the strick adherance to "rule" and outcomes. So what if you won, that was a bonus.

Thats how I remenber most of my sporting childhood. Mind you I scored 36 in 2 overs once, and got 6 for 18, won "b" reserve grade squash in Newcastle as part of a mixed team, and had a handicap of 12 for golf. Ah the list goes on but I enjoyed it. When it became demanding I moved on to something else.

Mike

I played a lot of outdoor stuff, loved to surf and paddle my surfski, and paid the second worst price, several bcc cancers removed from my face and 3 eye operations to remove a large bcc from my right eye and lid. so being sensible about it I turned to something that interested me when doing the hsc physics! no sun, supposedly. note i have 3 solar filters and a pst. dumb eh!

Your not wrong Ken went to see the Knights and the Broncos the other week entrance fee and nibblies x 5 killed $200 bucks. Im still spewing about it. To make matters worse the Knights lost ( nothing unusual this year) Oh the good old days when you could get in for under a tenner

Gazz,

My other half packs enough food to feed a small army when we go down to Melb for the NRL! Cost: Under 20 bucks. Yeah, gate is dear though. We hardly ever pay though coz we are connected with Storm and often get General Admission seats for nicks.

If your boys play league they should be entitled to their free yearly pass to all NRL games.
