A very quiet sun

Took this the other day, stack of 5 shots with visible light glass solar filter. Not the tiniest spot, ive never seen the Sun this quiet before.
10 inch f5.6 Newtonian

Very quiet indeed. There was some two spots early in the week, they were the first for 28 days. This is getting very close to solar minimum.

How did you achieve focus without any spots?

Its a bit too quiet for my liking, especially since i just got a PST! Also how did you achieve focus??? ive found it pritty difficult but then again, ive used a webcam for it.

I focussed on the limb, taking some test shots just to make sure, tweaking focus and stopping when I got it as sharp as I could. Seeing wasnt the best though.
