30 dorado

I took this image last night. It is made of 3x5minlum, 2x5min red, 2x5 min green, 4x 5min blue exposures. I am finding combining the images very difficult. After some hours playing with iris and then the gimp I have this image. The colour is still not correct but I have given up.
All were taken through my VC200L at prime focus guided with a Q-guider through a 120mm refractor on my EQ6. edit:I fiddled with the image and with less processing it is much better and have replaced the pic.

Hmmmm, dunno what went wrong.
I'm not familiar with a 'Genesis' CCD camera so I can't help.

A genesis CCD is the US version on the audine camera. The CCD is a KAF0401E like in an ST7 (but not the antiblooming version that is standard in the ST7)

I like it Terry, colour balance/processing is hard - I have been doing the same thing the last two nights - trying LRGB on Tarantula.... I can't get a decent result - I'm enjoying luminance alone too much anyway at the moment!

It looks like the focus wasn't right. The colours look good though!
