Snake Valley Crescent Moon, 12 Nov 07

2-day old waxing crescent moon taken shortly after my very late arrival at the SVAA astro camp yesterday........

First two are with kit lens on Canon 400D. Moon & Jupiter; Moon, Jupiter & Antares (the v tiny lower spot - hot pixel pink!)

Next two are with MTO 10.5/1100 mirror lens on Canon 400D. Earthshine is a stack of 3 subs; thin crescent is a stack of 6 (Registax V3).

Last is with kit lens - Moon, Jupiter & some brighter stars.

All are reduced in size, and processed on my lap-top - no idea how they will look to you . Will re-process everything when I get home at the end of the week.

Cheers -
